Lornoxicam + Paracetamol

Tablet

Lornoxicam and Paracetamol is a powerful combination used for effective relief from pain and inflammation. It combines the anti-inflammatory action of Lornoxicam with the analgesic and antipyretic effect of Paracetamol. This combination provides rapid onset of action and is widely used in conditions like arthritis, post-operative pain, musculoskeletal disorders, and acute painful conditions. It is especially beneficial in providing faster and stronger pain relief compared to single-drug therapy and should be used under medical supervision.

Mechanism

Lornoxicam inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol acts centrally by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the brain, providing analgesic and antipyretic effects. Together, they provide enhanced and rapid pain relief.
