Ciprofloxacin + Tinidazole

Tablet

Ciprofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication. Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal agent effective against protozoan and anaerobic bacterial infections. Together, they provide broad-spectrum coverage for mixed infections.

Mechanism

Ciprofloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing replication. Tinidazole disrupts protozoal DNA, leading to cell death.
