Aceclofenac + Paracetamol + Serratiopeptidase

Tablet

This triple combination provides comprehensive relief: Aceclofenac reduces inflammation and pain, Paracetamol lowers fever and enhances analgesic effect, while Serratiopeptidase (a proteolytic enzyme) reduces swelling, edema, and promotes faster tissue healing.

Strength
  • Aceclofenac 100 mg
  • Paracetamol 325 mg
  • Serratiopeptidase 10 mg
Packing Size
  • 10 Tablets

Mechanism

Aceclofenac:Inhibits COX enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis → decreases inflammation and pain.
Paracetamol:Acts centrally on the hypothalamus to reduce fever and modulates pain pathways → enhances analgesic effect.
Serratiopeptidase:Proteolytic enzyme that breaks down inflammatory proteins (fibrin, bradykinin) → reduces edema, swelling, and accelerates tissue healing.

Pharmacokinetics

  • Absorption: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol rapidly absorbed orally; Serratiopeptidase absorbed via intestinal mucosa.
  • Distribution: Aceclofenac widely distributed; Paracetamol crosses blood-brain barrier; Serratiopeptidase localizes to inflamed tissues.
  • Metabolism: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol metabolized hepatically; Serratiopeptidase acts enzymatically without major systemic metabolism.
  • Elimination: Renal and fecal excretion.
  • Half-life: Aceclofenac ~4 hrs; Paracetamol ~2–3 hrs; Serratiopeptidase ~6–8 hrs (functional activity).

Side Effects

  • Gastric irritation, nausea, dyspepsia
  • Dizziness, headache
  • Rare: liver toxicity (especially with overdose)
  • Allergic reactions (rash, itching)
  • Diarrhea (possible with Serratiopeptidase)

Contraindication

  • Severe liver or kidney disease
  • History of gastric ulcers or GI bleeding
  • Pregnancy & breastfeeding (use with caution)
  • Hypersensitivity to NSAIDs, Paracetamol, or Serratiopeptidase

Interaction

  • Alcohol: Increases risk of gastric bleeding and liver damage.
  • Anticoagulants: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol may enhance bleeding risk.
  • Other NSAIDs: Avoid duplication of therapy.

Warning and Precautions

  • Do not exceed recommended dose.
  • Use cautiously in patients with GI disorders.
  • Monitor liver function during prolonged use.
  • Check for hidden paracetamol in combination medicines.

Dosage

As directed by the Physician.
