Suspension

This suspension is a combination of an antipyretic, antihistamine, decongestant, expectorant, and soothing agent formulated for effective relief from cold and flu symptoms. Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves body aches, Chlorpheniramine Maleate (CPM) controls allergic symptoms like sneezing and runny nose, and Phenylephrine acts as a nasal decongestant to relieve blocked nose.
Sodium Citrate helps in loosening mucus and easing its expulsion, while Menthol provides a soothing and cooling effect on the throat. The formulation offers multi-symptom relief, improving comfort during upper respiratory tract infections.

Mechanism

Paracetamol
Acts centrally to reduce fever and relieve pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
Phenylephrine
Acts as a vasoconstrictor, reducing nasal congestion by shrinking swollen nasal mucosa.
Chlorpheniramine Maleate (CPM)
