Suspension

This suspension is a combination of an antipyretic, decongestant, and antihistamine formulated for effective relief from cold and allergy symptoms. Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves body aches, Phenylephrine provides nasal decongestion by constricting swollen blood vessels in nasal passages, and CPM (Chlorpheniramine Maleate) relieves allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itching.

Mechanism

Paracetamol
Acts on the hypothalamic heat-regulating center to reduce fever and provides analgesic effect by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
Phenylephrine
Stimulates alpha-adrenergic receptors causing vasoconstriction in nasal mucosa, thereby reducing congestion.
Chlorpheniramine Maleate (CPM)
Blocks H1 histamine receptors, reducing allergic symptoms like sneezing, rhinorrhea, and itching.
