SHAMPOO

This medicated shampoo combines a potent antifungal agent with an anti-dandruff active for comprehensive scalp care. Ketoconazole effectively eliminates fungi responsible for dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, while ZPTO (Zinc Pyrithione) helps control flaking, itching, and scalp irritation.
The formulation works synergistically to reduce fungal growth, normalize scalp condition, and prevent recurrence of dandruff, leaving the scalp clean and healthy.

Mechanism

Ketoconazole
Inhibits fungal ergosterol synthesis, disrupting cell membrane formation and leading to fungal cell death. Zinc Pyrithione (ZPTO)
Exhibits antifungal and antibacterial activity, reduces scalp flaking, and controls itching by slowing down excessive skin cell turnover.

Side Effects

  • Mild scalp irritation
  • Dryness or oiliness of hair

Indication

  • For the treatment of dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and associated symptoms such as scaling, flaking, and itching of the scalp.

Direction for use

  • Wet hair and scalp and apply sufficient solution to produce enough lather.
  • Massage for one minute and rinse with warm water.
  • Repeat the procedure again.
  • Rinse with warm water and then dry hair.
  • Use the shampoo twice a week for 4 weeks followed by once weekly as maintenance therapy
