Mechanism

Gamabenzene Hexachloride
Acts on the parasite’s central nervous system causing hyperexcitation, paralysis, and death of mites and lice.
Cetrimide
Disrupts microbial cell membranes, providing antiseptic action and reducing the risk of secondary infection.

Side Effects

• Skin irritation or burning sensation
• Headache or dizziness (rare)

Contraindication

• Hypersensitivity to Lindane or formulation components
• Infants and young children
• Pregnancy and lactation
• Patients with seizure disorders
• Broken or inflamed skin

Dosage

• As directed by the physician.

How to use

Scabifix Lotion for Scabies

• Take bath using soap and hot water and dry with a towel.
• Apply the lotion to the entire skin below the neck giving particular attention to folds of the skin fingerwebs, etc.
• Do not use in or near the eyes.
• Boil all clothes as well as towel, Bedlinen, etc.
• Treat all family members at the same time.
• Repeat the whole procedure a week later, if necessary or use as directed by the Physician.



Scabifix Lotion for pediculosis (Hair Lice)

• Take lotion and rub in well to dampen all hair or scalp or the region involved.
• Let the lotion remain in contact with the scalp or the region involved for at least 24 hours.
• Avoid contact of lotion to the eyes or around
• Remove the lotion by washing with water and soap.
• Repeat the treatment necessary after a week or as directed by the Physician.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

• CNS stimulants: May increase risk of seizures
• Other topical antiparasitic agents: May increase toxicity

Warning and Precautions

• For external use only
• Use strictly as directed; avoid repeated or prolonged application
• Do not apply on broken or irritated skin
• Avoid use in children and elderly without medical supervision
• Use with caution due to potential neurotoxicity
• Discontinue use if severe irritation occurs
• Store in a cool, dry place
• Keep out of reach of children
